Description
You Are A Liar is a game designed to spark intrigue and laughter among players. Participants take turns acting as the reader and the guesser.
During each round the guesser will turn away from the table while the other players select a card ensuring that at least one lie card and one truth card are included.
Once the cards are chosen the guesser turns back and listens as players read their statements in turn. The guesser must determine whether each statement is true or false. If a statement is identified as a lie a Finger card is placed in front of the player who made the statement.
This decision must be made before the next player reads their statement and once an accusation is made it cannot be changed. Therefore players should only place a Finger card in front of someone if they are confident that the statement is a lie.
For each correctly identified lie the guesser adds the Finger card to their winnings. Conversely for each incorrect accusation a Finger card must be moved from their winnings to the center pile. The player with the most Finger cards at the end of the game is declared the winner.
