Description
Buriti is a native palm tree from Brazil particularly found in the Cerrado and wet tropical forests of the Amazon. Its pulp is valued for making traditional desserts and can also be fermented to produce wine.
The oil extracted from the fruit pulp is rich in oleic fatty acids and has a high concentration of carotenoids especially Vitamin A. This makes it suitable for self-tanning deep hydration of sensitive skin after-sun care and enhancing skin’s elasticity and firmness.
