Description

In 1940 Belgium within the Ardennes Forest a group of soldiers including Danny and his friend Bill are captured by SS troopers and taken to a holding camp. The camp’s commander Schmit a boxing enthusiast recognizes Danny’s fighting skills during a courtyard brawl and coerces him into participating in an organized match. Despite being instructed to lose Danny emerges victorious. As a consequence Schmit arranges for Danny to face his own undefeated champion known as The Black Hun. The other prisoners view this as a chance to orchestrate a daring escape before they are transferred to more remote camps deep within German territory. The story unfolds as Danny confronts The Black Hun raising the stakes for the prisoners’ escape plan and their hopes for freedom.
