This adapter is specifically designed for Windows 10 and 11 operating systems only and does not support legacy versions of Windows. To prevent software conflicts it is recommended to uninstall any previous Bluetooth driver software before installing this new Bluetooth 5.1 adapter. The adapter is plug and play for Windows 10 and 11 and will install automatically when connected to the computer.
