Bentonite Clay is commonly used as a cosmetic for skin care but can also serve as an animal feed additive pet litter soil improver or a clarifying agent. It is highly absorbent and contains a high number of negatively charged electrons which act like a magnet when exposed to water drawing out positively charged electrons found in some toxins from the skin. It may also be referred to as Montmorillonite or Sodium Bentonite.
